Here’s some EPIC reads I’ve enjoyed this week!

In Flanders Fields by Norman Jorgensen, Brian Harrison-Lever. A young World War I soldier risks his life to cross the no-man’s-land and rescue a robin caught in barbed wire.

Mercedes and the Chocolate Pilot by Margot Theis Raven, illustrated by: Gijsbert van Frankenhuyzen. A True Story of the Berlin Airlift and the Candy that Dropped from the Sky.

A Bear in War by Stephanie Innes, illustrated by: Harry Endrulat. A young girl slips her teddy bear into a care package for her father. Her father dies and his belongings are shipped back to his family.
