Epic Reads: Hero Dogs, Dazzle Ships and Canada at War

Here’s some EPIC reads I’ve enjoyed this week!

Rags: Hero Dog of WWI by Margot Theis Raven, illustrated by Petra Brown. During World War I, Private James Donovan literally stumbles upon a small dog cowering on the streets of Paris.

Canada in World War 1 by Gordon Clarke. When Britain declared war on Germany in 1914, it meant that Canada was at war, too.

Dazzle Ships: World War I and the Art of Confusion by Chris Barton, illustrated by: Victo Ngai. During World War I, British and American ships were painted with bold colors and crazy patterns from bow to stern.
